I have finally finished my Ukraine-themed farkle set, featuring the heraldry of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv and Dnipro. Cups feature the medieval Tryzub/"trident" from Kyivan Rus, and the Slava Ukraini words on the reverse. I went for the flag colours for both sets of dice, with each set containing an extra joker die. If you're not familiar with farkle, it's a two player dice game with rules something like poker or rummy, with a medieval theme made famous by the kingdom come games.

This was fun to make, and I did it with fundraising in mind. All I will get back from this is the money I need to cover any postage costs. 100% of profits will go to @4ukraine_bnh , a wonderful local charity that, as well as providing much needed services and advice to the local Ukrainian community, sends out humanitarian aid and supplies (medical aid, pet food, clothing, candles etc), mostly to the Kharkiv region.

You can read more about these initiatives, which also involve evacuations of civilians from the frontline, on their website:

I can make a few more of these on demand, but please keep in mind that this is also what I do for a living so my regular commissions (there are many) take priority, if you'd like to know what the waiting list is like, just ask and I will nonetheless get round to making more of these on demand as soon as I can. In the meantime, the money benefits a great charity, not me. I am also planning to make up smaller items, possibly pendants, and painted slate coasters with various symbols of a similar theme, and there will be updates about these soon as well, with the money again going to a related charitable cause.
